Small Groups

The calling to be a disciple, a follower of Jesus, is one of commitment to Christ, his Cause and his Church. At Peterborough Vineyard Church one of our main goals is to deveop a healthy community of Small Groups where individuals can learn to love and be loved, know and be known, and grow in their relationships with others and Jesus. We are a church that does not have a Small Group ministry, rather we are a church which is made up of Small Groups. We believe that this difference conveys a very important reality that underpins the way we experience church life. Small Groups are the “building blocks” of the community life of church. They are the place where individuals are cared for pastorally, can find healing and fellowship, and can learn to minister and work together. Small Groups are vital, not only for our ongoing personal health and growth as followers of Jesus, but also for the health and growth of the church as we seek to reach out to families, friends and neighbours, our wider community, with the Good News about Jesus.
Therefore we encourage everyone who wants to be part of the church to join a Small Group. These will meet on a mid-week evening in different locations around the city and are the place where we can experience church life and community together.
