 Our Vision
Our Vision answers the question “Why?” – Why do we exist? Our vision is an expression of what we see the church being or doing. It is the product of God working in us and the goal towards which we move.
At Peterborough Vineyard Church we have a vision to see a church where:
ESTABLISH: we establish a growing, bible based church that will worship God and communicate the love of Jesus with compassion and mercy. (2 Tim 1: 13-14) & (Col 3: 12-16).
ENTER: we provide a place for people to enter into a living and vibrant relationship with God, through intimate worship, relevant bible teaching, practical values and an active prayer life – both corporately and individually. (Eph 3: 14-21).
EVERYONE: all in our church will be given the opportunity to grow and minister in the Fruit and Gifts of the Spirit – “Everyone gets to play” and to be involved in the practical expressions of love through our Small Groups and our compassion ministries. (1 Peter 2: 9).
EVERYTHING: we will seek to do everything under God’s direction and plan for our church. With Him remaining at our centre at all times. Everything we do is marked by our best, integrity and love. (Psalm 127: 1-2).
