What is Peterborough Vineyard Church?

Peterborough Vineyard Church is a community of believers that seek to live out the words of Jesus as found in Luke 10:27-28:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and, love your neighbour as yourself”…Jesus said “Do this and you will live!”

Our aim is: “To know Jesus in our lives and to make Him known in our community”

Geoff and Maggie Sammons

Geoff (originally from Wisbech) and Maggie (from London) met at their local church and soon were involved together in all aspects of church life. God began speaking very clearly to them about their “busy-ness” for Him and challenging them about their personal walk with Him. This led to them really seeking Him and eventually to them making their first contact with Vineyard and settling at Riverside Vineyard where they stayed for the next ten years.

In 2000, God called them to move to Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, to assist Chris & Maggie Parsons in establishing West Suffolk Vineyard Church and in July 2008 Geoff & Maggie moved to Peterborough as Pastors of Peterborough Vineyard Church
